Two ways to work with us

Most pilots walk in with a completed MedXPress form and walk out with a certificate. A few need a closer look first. Either way, you're in experienced hands.

FAQ

Common questions, clear answers

Don't see yours below? A private consultation is the fastest way to get a straight answer.

How long does the exam take? +
Plan for approximately 60 minutes, with extra time if you need an EKG or color vision test. In the majority of cases you leave with your certificate in hand.
Do I need to complete MedXPress first? +
Yes. Fill out the form at medxpress.faa.gov before your visit and bring your confirmation number. If a question stumps you, book a consultation rather than guessing.
I take a medication. Is that a problem? +
It depends. Some medications are approved outright, some require Special Issuance, and a handful are disqualifying. A consultation is the safest way to find out before a denial goes on your record.
Is there parking at the airport? +
Yes. Free parking directly outside Jet Air Group. You do not need to go through the main terminal.
Do you accept insurance? +
FAA medical exams are generally not insurance-covered. Payment is due at the visit: cash, check, or card.
What if I fail? +
Very few exams end in denial when you come prepared. If something comes up, we defer rather than deny when possible, giving you time to get documentation in order and keep your record clean.
